Ideas about things change all the time with new scientific discoveries .. one thing doesn't .. religion. clergies are still able to lay by the name of their distant silent gods about everything, especially things that science didn't answer yet.

Atheist Christians are afraid that their kids would be atheist Muslims and the other way around.. the real reason is not religion but the disadvantages that you get when you change your (Identity).
How could that be true.?

Believers will not leave you to think free and find god in your own way, they know you are not going to find it if you do.
They want you to believe in their own way, just because they love you. and you have to be thankful that they do, because you know how it would be if they don't.

It is not the political , economical or nationalism or even racism . it is religion. no matter what you say, presidents, politician, economist or racist aren't able to convince somebody to suicide. but preachers are .. we know they did.

to be able to criticize religion or religious people, you have to be one of them. they are not going to listen or understand no matter how reasonable are you unless you are one of them.
That's how much the religion dogmatics are deaf and mute . sometimes I think , is there any sense in criticizing religion in religious countries? It is only that I mind the noise of mosques.. but is that separable from the tasteless, stupid, arrogantly self centered believe system that gives them the right to do whatever makes it less civilized and idiotic and still think that everybody else is wrong?

There is so much beauty in the universe / life / science as it is , it takes much more then a life time to be able to learn and enjoy the knowledge or the wonders of life. why isn't necessary to know who did it before we know what it is ? and how come that theologian know what science doesn't.

If Matters are measured by their results and consequences, the greatest failure would be god and his religions.

It is easy to guess the religion of a suicide bomber .. That has something to do with their childhood. but it is as easy to guess that he didn't play an instrument in public before.

Given the right to talk or express opinion, terrorists wives could speak out in public about husbands abandoning them and their kids for the virgins in paradise.

You are not to judge an Idea, faith, religion or any other dogma by the behaviour of its followers. but by its content and the behaviour of its leaders but, if it is an old Idea, then its results counts the most.

There are many kinds of religious believers, few kinds of non believers.
All believers are united against non believers, and somehow against each other in their differences of believes.. they, however, don't believe in differences. Believes are right or wrong. non believe are the only thing that makes all believes think they all are right, at least for a while.

Relativity. statements
Guns don't kill people !. people kill people ! don't blame the gun.
Internet chat and pron is harmful if not controlled by parent. don't blame the Internet.

The way Religious people pretend to know the mind of god, talk about it and dictate what to do and what not to do for people , the way they and their followers behave even on their way to prayers, makes me sick.

Modernizing (evolving) something might result in changing it totally.. let's talk about modernizing Islam, IF we do then there will be nothing left. well.. western Muslims may not know what they are , but they are not Muslims by any measures of the "real" followers of profit and Koran or by the books themselves.

When an Idea has too many things to defend, things that look wrong, so it is better to dropped it all together.

I don't see enough evidence to be convinced that god exists, you can kill me (and you being Muslim I expect you will), or you can give me more time to look and more evidence when available to you, until then don't bother me with azan.

Free will is confusing, god knows everything that is going to happen in the future. yet if you do what he already decided, yet he is going to burn you for doing it. There is nothing else that can happen.

Miracles is not going to change people believes.. so why using them?
In any Religion/non Religion debate. the theist party try to explain miracles, by making them (scientifically possible) and reducing the role of god to an(almost) rational level.
It is possible with the new science to clone a human , thus the virgin birth is possible. god did the very same thing that we are able to do now, but earlier in time.
But is that really the way they would approach the very same questions with their (own) people?
Either ways. Miracle means god exists (to people who believe in miracles, not god) .. no miracle means the possibility without god (for people who don't' believe in them).

Apostasy is insult to the ignorance of believers, they would kill not to defend it. That's why religion don't let people alone, they want everybody to share their misery.

Nothing will stop bigots, specially after 9-11, from believing that miracles are nothing but normal science with some help from god.

Try to convince a child who was indoctrinated with Islamic faith that 9-11 didn't have anything to do with god's support.

Is there a meaning to the (interfaith? or believe variations) and could it finish the religion conflicts?.. deep down there are no 2 people who believe in the same god and they are ready to fight over who's god is better.

Something must be wrong in a society, where dying and killing children for Allah is more accepted then being skeptic about him.

preachers shouldn't push people to study their religion and understand it. that's a short cut to loosing their followers.

والتبعية والفسق والذين صاروا، وعلى غفلة من الزمان رجال أعمال وأصحاب ثروات أسطورية، ومن نجوم المجتمعات الكبار يسرحون ويمرحون، وعلى كيف كيفهم، بلا أي ضابط أو إيقاع، بأنه أمام مجموعة من الفطاحل والعباقرة الأفذاذ المتواجدين في مراكز الأبحاث والجامعات العريقة والذين يحاججون بالمنطق والعقل والبينة الدامغة، ويعتمدون على مبدأ التجريب العلمي والبرهان الاستدلالي المنطقي في توصيل المعارف العلمية الوضعية الناجزة لا الغيبة، ولا تأخذهم في العلم لومة لائم، مثلهم، تماماً، مثل ديكارت، ولافوازييه، ونيوتن، وإينشتاين، وإديسون، وغاليلو، وباستور، وفيثاغورس، وتالس... إلخ ممن قدموا للإنسانية خدمات جليلة وعظيمة، علماء ونضعهم بنفس المعيار والميزان، لتصبح عندها، وكما يحاجج "علماء الأمة"، ردة فعل ذاك البدوي، وفي غابر الأيام، على هذا الحدث أو ذاك مقياساً موحداًً، ونبراساً مقدساً وملزماً لجحافل القطعان الهائمة كي تهتدي به في كافة الأزمان؟ لقد حظي علماء الغرب بالمهابة والسمعة الطيبة والاحترام نتيجة لما قدموه للإنسانية من انجازات ومكتسبات راقية، وحصدوا لذلك النياشين المشرّفة والجوائز الغالية، وسجل التاريخ أسماءهم بأحرف من ذهب ونور وغار، فيما لم ينل "علماء الأمة"، والحمد لله، سوى تلك السمعة المتواضعة، وغير المرضية بسبب انعدام إنجازاتهم، تقريباً، على الصعيد العام، اللهم إلا في زرع التخلف وتجذير الأوهام، وعدم انعكاس جهودهم "البحثية" رفاهية وازدهاراً على الناس، وبسبب مسخهم للعقل، وتبعيتهم العمياء لماريشالات القهر والإفقار وسلاطين الاستبداد. فالفقر والجهل والأوبئة والمجاعات والفساد والانحطاط العام والانهيارات القيمية والمعرفية والسلوكية الكبرى، تصول وتجول وتضرب أطنابها، وكل الفضل والحمد لله، من طنجة لجاكرتا حيث تمتد إمبراطورية "علماء الأمة" الأفاضل الأبرار. فالعلم، وكما هو معروف، وفي جميع دول العالم التي تحترم نفسها، بحر ليس له قرار،لا ينطق عن هوى ومزاج، وليس لمحاباة ومرضاة أولي الأمر المعصومين الأبرار، متعدد الفروع والأوجه، ومتشعب المسالك والطرقات، وهو حال من الكشف المتواصل ديناميكي حركي متطور غير ثابت، ومتحول مع الأيام، يعتمد على المنطق، والدقة، والإثبات والإبداع والإقناع، ولا مجال فيه للتلاعب، والتأويل والشبهة والاحتماليات. ويثرى كل يوم بتجارب جديدة، وخبرات حديثة، وينتقل من حال إلى حال، بحيث ما كان بالأمس فتحاً وضرباً من ضروب الخيال، يمسي اليوم، وبرغم أهميته التأسيسية الكبرى قي تلك البنيوية التراكمية الهائلة، شيئاً من الماضي. فالصعود إلى القمر، مثلاً، وبرغم استثنائية الحدث وتاريخيته، قد أصبح من التقاليد العلمية المنسية، التي أصبحت مجرد مرحلة من مراحل ارتقاء العلم، والعقل البشري في مسيرته نحو السمو والكمال، وإن كنا نعترف، بأن لا حدود، ولا مدى لذاك السمو والارتقاء، إذا ما حافظ علي آليته الخلاقة المعروفة في البحث والاستكشاف، وعدم الركون إلى أية مراحل وإنجازات ومهما علا شأنها. فهل وضع "علماء الأمة"، قدّس الله سرهم، شعوبهم في مصافي الدول الراقية المتقدمة تكنولوجياً وحضارياً وصدّروا للعالم "المتخلف" إبداعاتهم الخلاقة الفريدة والنادرة، ونقلوه من جحيم الظلم، إلى نعيم النور والضياء أم لمّا تزل قطعانهم، بعد، هائمة تشخر في سبات عميق في وديان الجهل والدجل السحيقة الظلماء؟ وهل تسجـّل وفي كل يوم، ومع مطلع كل شمس، لهم براءات الاختراع المختلفة في الطب والعلوم والفيزياء، التي تدفع الحياة قدماً إلى الأمام، لا الوراء كما يتخيلون ويتمنون، وتخفف الألم والمعاناة عن كاهل المرضى، والجياع، والمعذبين الفقراء في مشارق الأرض ومغاربها؟ ولذا ترى طلاب العلم من أصقاع العالم المختلفة تتقاطر، فرادى وقطعاناً، نحو بؤرهم العلمية الثرية في الأزهر والخرطوم والقصيم وبريدة ووهران وكراتشي ومقاديشو وقندهار للنهل من علوم الرضاعة، والبول، والحائض، وأسرار الجماع وفنون الإيلاج، واستكشاف الطرق المثلى والمتعددة لسفك الدماء التي يجهل كنهها أولئك الجهلة الأدعياء في هارفارد، وأوكسفورد، وجورج تاون، الذين أعمى الله بصيرتهم قبل بصرهم، ولم يمن عليهم بنعمه على "علماء الأمة". فـ"علماء الأمة" الرواد، وبفضل من الله سبحانه، ونصر أيدهم به، يحاربون الجهل، والبدع، والضلالات، والخرافات، ويدعون للحب والتآخي بين البشر، ويبشرون بعالم مليء بالحب والتسامح والإخاء بين الناس، ديدنهم العدل والمكاشفة والشفافية والصراحة وكلمة الحق أمام السلطان الجائر، ويقدسون حرية الرأي والمعتقد وحقوق الإنسان، ويحاربون الفساد، ولا يتواطؤون، ولمعلوماتكم، البتة، ولا يتحالفون، أبداً، مع الحكام الظلمة الفجار القساة، ولصوص المافيات وقطاع الطرقات، ولا يأخذون، أبداً، بالثقافة الشفهية المتواترة لسلسلة نقل فلان عن علتان ابن خالة فلان وصهر علان وابن أخت فليحان بالرضاعة الذي كان يشرب البول حين سمع ذلك من جار ابن عمة فلان وهو يستنجي بالصحراء؟

our situation in phrases

I don't hate My Mother land. I am just embarrassed by it .
do we understand the difference between to love something and to be proud of it.?
Everybody complains about everything and blame the government and the PRESIDENT in Democratic places. and they like everything in dictatorships and in some places they could blame the government.
Some times we do feel that all responsible people in the government have 2 dimensional minds.
What is first to us. religion . town. country. tribe?.. what do we have in common with others?
What is that we are proud to be a part of first ? where does our loyalty go first.?
Do we have good government .. is everything easy to get .. is heath care good enough .. do we have good education possibilities?
Do we have good public.. does the majority behave.. do we have good drivers or good public servants. does the majority try to clean their own area or their own street.
Doesn't everybody try to cheat everybody else .. isn't corruption very common.
So there is no good government and there is no good public.. what are we proud of.?
The past is the only thing. Islam did a great empire.. that' happen to every nation.. didn't it?
Islam were bunch of Bedouins .. hard fighters. they went and took over other empires that were kind of rich and relaxed with their own pride of what they did..
Muslim empire later on was rich and relaxed.. they even started innovating stuff. exactly like Greeks and roman and Persian were before .. well another barbarian tribe came and took over..
that's very normal .. there is nothing to wonder about.. there is nothing to be proud of .


I think that we should rethink our believes and see that our brains are not used to anything but to obey vague instructions written in an old book that nobody can interpret for the last 1400 year or 2000 years ..

can we try to understand what we are after here ? before being proud of it?
